Rules

The furlough challenge will begin on 1st April 2020 with the aim to record as many species from your garden as possible

• Birds seen and heard from within the garden/house count
• Native plant species only; these must be loacted within your garden
• Botanical disputes are to be verified by an independent adjudicator (Lozza)
• Birding is to be moderated by WS although the board recognise photographs and recordings may be difficult
• Weekly lists are to be sent in via whatsapp each Saturday to IT support- EH RSY
• Technological equipment is permitted but birdsong/plant ID apps are forbidden
• Devon BAP species and BOCC are worth 2 points. Schedule 1 and 8 species are worth triple points
• Anyone found cheating will be subject to disciplinary action
